| Tequila |
| The recent popularity of Tequila has proven that it is no longer seen only as an ingrediant in Margaritas. Tequila is distilled from the juices of the Blue Agave plant. Only Tequila made from Blue Agave grown in the area surrounding the Mexican town of Tequila can be called Tequila. If if is produced outside of this region it is known as Mezcal. Gold Tequila is Tequila that has been aged , and in so doing has picked up an amber or gold colour. It tends to be more mellow than regular tequilla but still has the primary taste characteristics of Tequilla. |
